COMMUNITY leaders in Portishead are to write to Royal Mail bosses asking for better post office services in the growing town. They are putting pressure on Royal Mail Group, which is responsible for Post Office Ltd, asking for extra counters to be opened following complaints from residents. Currently a post office service runs from McColls in the High Street.

But there are only four counters at the store which means often long queues form within the busy shop, sometimes spilling out into the street.
