Summary


The widow of a mechanic killed as he worked under a vehicle on a motorway hard-shoulder is angry that a judge is giving the trucker responsible his driving licence back six months early.

Alan Mottershead, 53, from Sheffield, was jailed for two and a half years in 2004 after his 38-tonne car transporter drifted into the northbound M5 hard-shoulder and killed Michael Brookman, 48, who was working beneath the cab of an articulated lorry parked there.
