Viva Vivaldi: St George's In a candlelight setting, the Bristol Ensemble (previously the Emerald) presented an intimate evening of music by Vivaldi.
Concerto Alla Rustica opened the concert. This is a short piece for strings only and was followed by the first of two mandolin concertos with the superb soloist Alison Stephens in fine form. She brought the best out of this rather neglected instrument.See the full content of this document
