" Firstly, I'd like to express a very warm thank you to the people from all over Bristol who have been so supportive, enthusiastic and open to the programme that we have put on over the past six months," says Tom Morris, whose passion lies in creating a theatre that reaches its full potential and productions that engage, inspire and entertain audiences in the city.

"The most vital thing is that people have turned up in their droves. All the conventional wisdom says that when a theatre closes, the audience goes away and it takes years for them to come back. It seems that the people of Bristol have set out to prove that theory wrong, and we are very grateful to them for that."
