IN response to George Phillipou's letter Letters 31st December, does he seriously believe that being attacked is a 'wake up call' to the truth of hardship and struggles of 'ordinary' people.

I find it incredible that there are people who think subjecting another person to aggression, violence and intimidation will somehow 'enlighten' them to the real world.
