BORN: May 19,1936 DIED: October 10 MARRIED: Eunice, his second wife, in 2004 STEPCHILDREN: Hilary, Lyn, Ian and Andy STEPGRANDCHILDREN: 14 and six step great-grandchildren OCCUPATION: Foreman PHILIP, known as Pip, was a man loved very much by his wife, Eunice, and family. He was born in London, but moved to Bristol in the 1970s. Philip spent his life being determined to achieve all he could and showed this through his sporting career, despite suffering with cerebral palsy. He became a dedicated sportsman, achieving a gold medal for archery in the 1984 Paralympics in New York. Although he ventured in many sporting fields, bowls became his life.

He often competed in the Cerebral Palsy Games and was regularly picked to play in major tournaments in Nottingham and the South West. He also had a reputation as a sports coach. He met is wife, Eunice, through helping her grandson, Mark.
