BRISTOL mum Talia Slade has combined her love of food with an ambition to run her own business. And five years on the 35-year-old is now the co-director of a successful business employing four people producing and marketing flavoured nuts that are sold in pubs, bars and restaurants across Bristol and the South West. Before going into business for herself Talia worked in marketing for retail giants including Arcadia, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Somerfield. But her background in pubs led to the creation of her company.
She said: "I was born and bred in a pub. My dad owns the Anchor Inn at Oldbury-on-Severn so I spent a lot of time in the bar and kitchen and got to know all of the ins and outs of the pub business and gained a good insight into what pub customers want."See the full content of this document
