SHELBY Smart, one of Bristol's brightest golfing prospects, has retained the South West Schools Championship she won at Tewkesbury Park last year.
Smart, pictured right, beat Dorset's new champion and Millfield schoolgirl Sophie Keech (Lyme Regis) by seven shots at Test Valley, Hampshire. Despite the victory, Smart remains dissatisfied with her work on the greens. Her rounds of one-under par 71, followed by a 72, contained 32 putts each time.See the full content of this document
