Ashton Fc suffered a heartbreaking defeat on penalties in the FA Sunday Cup.

A Ben Anthony goal meant they drew 1-1 with Swindon side Greenbridge MOT Centre, but after extra-time could not separate the sides, the match had to be decided on spot-kicks and Greenbridge won 5-4. GL Sports went through with a walkover after Reading Irish withdrew from the competition.
