A DISHONEST couple illegally claimed more than Pounds 72,000 in benefits - but would have been entitled to more if they had applied for state help honestly.
Tracey Moore and Mark Pring were both given suspended prison sentences at Bristol Crown Court yesterday, following a city council prosecution that cost taxpayers Pounds 7,000. Prosecuting, Alan Fuller said Pring, 41, moved into Moore's council flat on Chantry Grove, Lawrence Weston, in the summer of 2001. She had been living there since 1993 and was legally claiming benefits.See the full content of this document
