CATHERINE Matthews Dance School has raised more than Pounds 1,300 for charity with a dance event.

The money raised from the dance at Chipping Sodbury Hall earlier this month will go to Help for Heroes. A cabaret of the Charleston and Lindy Hop was performed by Hoppin' Mad, and afterwards they gave a 20-minute lesson on the Charleston for everyone to join in.
