SIX runners carried a torch to Bristol Cathedral for a service to commemorate the lives of lost loved ones. The first of the 'Light up a Life' services was organised by St Peter's Hospice to give families and friends the opportunity to remember the departed.
Starting at the hospice in Charlton Road, Brentry, the runners carried a torch, symbolising lives that have been lost, to the cathedral in College Green. There as part of the ceremony 20-year- old George Ray performed a moving song he had written following his mother's death at the city's only adult hospice.See the full content of this document
