THESE are the latest images of the planned Pounds 34 million civic complex in Keynsham which includes shops, a town square and marketplace.
Bath and North East Somerset council carried out extensive consultations last year with residents and interested groups in the town before drawing up these revised plans. The council is expected to submit a planning application in January and hopes that construction work will start in August next year. The aim is to see the complex completed two years later. The fundamental aspects of the scheme remain - there will be new space for shops, a town square and market area, and one-stop shop and library for people to access local services, including from other public sector organisations. New environmentally friendly council offices will go above the shops.See the full content of this document
