IT started with Barmouth biscuits. Now there must be many who remember them? A thin and tasty chocolate biscuit manufactured, I seem to remember, by Peek Frean.
I've lamented their demise for years (along with many it appears on a Barmouth Biscuit Appreciation Society blog online!) and this was particularly exacerbated last year when my sister, who was in hospital for months and having tried the whole gambit of hospital food, decided that Barmouth biscuits would "do the trick"!See the full content of this document
