THERE were raised voices and angry exchanges as Filton Town councillors decided to continue with controversial plans for an office extension.

By a majority of seven to two they agreed that the council should accept the cheapest tender of Pounds 81,513 to carry out the work, despite suggestions being made that it was not necessary.
