Michael Kidd (horn) and Timothy End (piano): Colston Hall 2 FOR the last of the present series the duo presented a programme of mainly modern composers. Alan Abbott's Alla Cacia would have been played on the old hunting horn and this piece was written in that style.
After a quiet introduction on the piano the horn enters and eventually the whole piece speeds up. There was some exciting playing from both of them.See the full content of this document
