RESIDENTS in Portishead have won their fight to stop a snack trailer setting up business at the town's marina.
Businessman Domencico Abruzzo had applied to North Somerset Council for a street trading consent to open a trailer selling ice creams and drinks at Lockside Park - just metres away from residential properties. Mr Abruzzo, who runs Salvatore's Ice Cream and operates snack trailers at Ashton Court and Bristol City Centre, wanted to open the kiosk seven days a week from 11.30am to 7pm Monday to Friday and from 11am to 7.30pm at weekends.See the full content of this document
