WRITTEN and Directed by Clive Hayward with music composed and performed by John Telfer, this pantomime from Bristol Old Vic Theatre School has all the essential ingredients to please any "panto" buff. Where they might find a few dissenters is in the lengthy first half, and a shortage of physical fun.
The dialogue is crisp, often very funny, with clever new material rubbing shoulders with a variation on Abbot and Costello's famous Chinese baseball routine, which Gavin Swift as Mother Goose's amiable son Billy, and Suzie Preece's admirable Fairy Harmony delivered in fine style.See the full content of this document
