Summary
It may be hard to believe now but, many years ago, the Dundry Downs high above Bristol were a picnickers' paradise, with soft grass-covered humps and dumps in which they could open their hampers.
The Somerset village of Dundry, that has yet to be absorbed by the city like its near neighbour, Bishopsworth, emerged at the beginning of the last century as a fairly poorly served community.See the full content of this document
