The recent article: "Would you pay to park where you live?" (Post, September 29) leads me to believe that my residency in Knowle could be shortly curtailed!

If the parking measures you reported reach fruition it seems highly likely that I shall be charged to park outside my own home. The rationale being that my home is only one and a half miles from the city centre, and it is hoped that residents parking permits will stop commuters leaving their cars in the suburbs.
