PARENTS across Bristol and the surrounding are being warned to check children are protected against measles after an outbreak in France.
Letters have been sent to parents at some schools by the Health Protection Agency (HPA), and others will receive theirs next week. The letter says: "There is considerable risk that your child may catch measles if they are not protected against the disease. Unless your child has already received two doses of vaccine, we would advise you to obtain MMR vaccination before travelling to mainland Europe."See the full content of this document
