Summary
BRISTOL'S first academy opened in 2003 and has for six years been in the highest 8 per cent of value added performing schools in the country. In 2007, the City Academy was named as 'Outstanding Academy of the Year' in the national Education Business Awards, and this year received an excellent Ofsted report.
