IT was good to hear of Bristol's new High Sheriff appointment, who is both a black person of African descent and also an American Citizen.
It does however concern me that this lady is not resident in Bristol, and, as far as I know, is nominated by another past High Sheriff. I believe she also will be asked to nominate another High Sheriff in three years, which seems very undemocratic.See the full content of this document
