Britain's biggest nightclub operator Luminar saw its revenues under pressure as more of its core market find themselves out of work.

The company, which runs the Oceana, Liquid and Lava & Ignite clubs, said overall sales fell 5.9 per cent in the 26 weeks up to August 27, with a further downturn this month.
