YATE teenager Luke Hedger recovered from a stuttering start to secure a fifth-placed finish in the penultimate round of the Sunoco British 125GP Championship at Silverstone. Hedger, 15, produced a almost faultless display during qualifying to secure a third-place start on the grid - but a problem with his bike hindered his start in the race proper and left him go out of the first corner in last position.
The youngster's comeback was rapid - a total of 16 places were recovered by the end of lap one, before Hedger was on the coat- tails of the leading pack four circuits further on.See the full content of this document
