Lights Go Dim in Memory of Brunel's Death

THE lights on the Clifton Suspension Bridge will be dimmed to mark the 150th anniversary of the death of Victorian engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel.

Brunel died on September 15, 1859 at the age of 53 - five years before the bridge, which he had designed, was completed.
