IAM responding to some interesting but inaccurate observations made by Derek Ludlow of Redland in the Evening Post on September 10.
Whilst accepting that free schools are currently experimental, I refute the disingenuous suggestion that Bristol Free School employs unqualified teachers. We have selected an outstanding group of professional teachers from more than 200 applicants, many of whom were well qualified and currently teaching in Bristol.
