AT the moment it feels like one step forward and two steps back. After last week's disastrous performance against Doncaster Rovers, we go to Selhurst Park and come away with three points only to put in another abject performance against Reading.
Crystal Palace are in all sorts of trouble off and on the pitch and while there was an improvement in City's performance, it still took a great goal from Chris Iwelumo to take the points. Reading are on an impressive run of form and this was always likely to be a tough game and yet City decide not to turn up and deservedly got beat. Two-nil doesn't do Reading justice and City would have been on the end of another heavy defeat if Reading had had their shooting boots on.See the full content of this document
