LADIES are being given the chance to hone their angling skills at a special charity event at a fishing lake in Tickenham. The Ladies Day at Jacklands Fishing Lakes, Tickenham, is being held on July 2 in aid of breast cancer charity, Casting for Recovery. The charity supports women living with the disease by arranging an innovative programme of counselling coupled with the gentle exercise provided by fly fishing.
The two-hour morning session will start at 10am with breakfast followed by fly fishing tuition with a qualified tutor. The cost will be Pounds 15 with all funds going to the charity.See the full content of this document
