A CONVICTED fraudster has ruined engagements and left customers in limbo by taking upfront payments for rings just before his jewellery business went bust.
About eight customers bought gold or platinum rings from Joseph Boll, who ran Diamonds of Clifton on The Mall, only to find the shop closed several days before Christmas.
