YOUR anonymous bus driver tells us that we should all have the correct money ready when we get on the bus.
That was fine when bus fares were a reasonable fraction of a pound - can we be expected to have the right money when fares for a family are an unreasonable fraction of a tenner? Even when we make the effort, how many times do we proffer what used to be the correct fare, to be told "it's gone up, mate"? It seems that bus fares are "revised", i.e, increased, at three-month intervals. The rule seems to be that when oil prices go up, fares go up; when oil prices go down, fares go up.See the full content of this document
