A KNOWLE mother who got so drunk she left her baby girl running around a first floor balcony unsupervised has walked free from Bristol Magistrates'' Court.

The 18-month-old baby was discovered by police with saturated clothes and her underwear sodden with faeces, after her mother spent a whole afternoon and evening drinking strong lager.
