Summary
I HAVE enjoyed reading the letters from ex pupils of Rose Green school and the photo brought back memories of sitting on a window ledge to get a good view of Prince Philip passing by - probably in the late 1950s.
I was born in Gordon Avenue when Rose Green was still an Infants' school. I remember my mother taking me to see the headmistress there, Mrs Lee, some time before I actually started.
