A SHIREHAMPTON scientist has created a garden designed especially for disabled youngsters in memory of his wife.

Arthur Barker, 64, who lives in The Portway, began the project at Myrtle Allotments after caring for his wife Maureen, who died from corticobasal degeneration, a rare disease which affected her mobility.
