MANY years ago, the Post printed an article and photo of my late wife and myself highlighting the neglected state of St George fountain. Shortly after all the rubble around it was removed and flowers planted in the horse trough.
October 4, 1995, the Post printed my reference to a letter I sent to Bristol Parks Department praising them for the floral display at the fountain. This resulted in a phone call from the manager saying he was not responsible and did not know who was.See the full content of this document
