Young footballers taking part in a police-sponsored tournament sprang into action when they came across an emergency on their way home.
The boys, five pupils from Wyvern School and one from Broadoak in Weston-super-Mare, were on their way back from a tournament in Bristol in a minibus with police Sergeant Gareth Starr and support officer Claire Sketchley when they arrived at the scene of an accident in Worle High Street.
