HUNDREDS of youngsters are expected to showcase their music, dance, and drama skills at Longwell Green's annual Eisteddfod.

The week-long festival started yesterday with competitions held in the United Church, in Bath Road, and community centre, in Shellards Road. The event has been running since 1946 and hopes to build on the success of last year which attracted 1,000 entries.
