Summary
IT was probably just as well we didn't have Carlos Tevez on the bench against Cheltenham because he might have taken some persuading to join in the action with our boys. I use the word "action" loosely as it was another very poor home performance, which Paul Buckle must take full responsibility for.
Sometimes it is tough to blame the manager when the players have performed badly, but the team Mr Buckle selected was baffling to say the least. Why on earth did he leave our best striker, Matt Harold, on the bench for a home game? The manager said "Harrold had played a lot of games recently." But we had not played since the previous Saturday. It is not too much to ask him to play every seven days, is it?
