Summary
For the great unwashed, Europe are probably destined to be remembered for the poodle-permed pomp rock of The Final Countdown. Now on their eighth studio album they serve up an entertainingly grandiose affair, complete with Led Zep riffs, silly lyrics and an impressive string section.
The band's trump card is clearly guitarist John Norum who steals the show with some decent riffs - the type that Jimmy Page or Slash would be quite happy putting their name to.
