Here's what he said about The Picture House in July 2008: "The menu offers plenty of choice, with nine starters and nine main courses, and there are some very enticing dishes on there - 'London Particular' (an old- fashioned pea and ham soup) and rare roast Lackham Farm beef on hot dripping toast with parsley and caper salad, creamed horseradish and sea salt among them.
