THE Kingswood Players, who evolved in 1980 from a merger of the Downend Dramatic Society and The Romsdal Players, are a genuinely local group, whose members do everything involved in presenting a show, often including writing the material being used on stage.
Not surprisingly, many members have a long history with the society, including Richard Bond, who wrote and directed the highly successful production Sirens and Sandbags which took a nostalgic look back to the wartime years.See the full content of this document
