Asix month delay in the introduction of both the mandatory custodial and insured Tenancy Deposit Schemes has been announced by the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG).

This puts the likely start date for the legal requirement for landlords to be joined to a deposit protection scheme back to April 2007.
