CLIFTON Ladies ended the first weekend of games in the Maxi Fuel Super Sixes, played at UWE, in sixth place.
The Bristol side made a slow start against fellow Premier Division outfit Bowden Hightown and were trailing 5-0 at the interval. An improved second-half display saw Clifton grab three goals before finally losing 7-4.
