IWOULD like to add my comments in support of your correspondent Mr B Farmer regarding both the proposed development at Oakbourne and the surreptitious manner with which this information has been conveyed.
I use this facility every week and the withdrawal of this facility is not to be contemplated. This space was designated for future community woodland. At which council meeting was it decided to change and who voted for it? Time and time again your paper has reported on angry so-called consultation meetings where citizens' views were ignored. The council then went ahead and it was found that the decision had been taken some time before the so-called consultation had been called.See the full content of this document
