REPORTS of my retirement (Evening Post, January 11) have been greatly exaggerated The story about my attendance at Flog It described me as a "retired member of Bristol City Council".

Like thousands of other older people who have retired from work, I find myself busier than ever I was before. And particularly busy as a councillor for St George West - re-elected last June - helping local people improve the quality of life where they live.
