BRISTOL'S snooker ace Judd Trump has dedicated his performance at this year's Betfred.com World Championship to his younger brother. Jack Trump, now aged 18, suffered a brain haemorrhage five years ago while Judd was still trying to cement his place on the snooker circuit.

Thankfully, the teenager survived and has never left his brother's side during a fairytale run to this year's Crucible final.

Trump showed the signs of a real champion of the future despite going down 18-15 to John Higgins yesterday.

Higgins paid tribute to Trump last night describing him as "a new sensation in the game", adding: "I think he was the better player, playing a brand of snooker we've never seen before. It was unbelievable."
