Summary
A beauty spot which is home to wildlife and the ruins of an ancient castle and is coming up for auction in July.
The land which makes up The Coombe, in East Harptree, is being marketed by Carter Jonas whose staff have been looking into both its history and its natural history. It was taken back again in 1140 before coming to an ignominious end during the 15th century when its stone was plundered to build a new house nearby.See the full content of this document
