Summary


It's that time of year again when British Summer Time ends and winter begins. The clocks will go back an hour on October 28, which will also mark the 100th aniversary of the date when British Summer Time was first proposed. It brings with it the old debate about whether summer time should be extended to cover the whole year.

Whatever your stance on the issue, there is no doubt that people feel more vulnerable travelling when the mornings and evenings are darker.
