Initially, there is conversation and laughter. Then the chilly air is filled with the sound of close-harmony singing.

This is the weekly rehearsal of the Bristol Fashion Chorus women's barbershop singing group, which was started in 1978 and is now the biggest in Bristol.

It was recently selected as one of four finalists out of more than 70 choirs in a national contest.
