GARAGE employers are needed to take on apprentices to meet surging demand for motor vehicle maintenance courses at Weston College. The college's construction and engineering centre of excellence has been inundated with applications at its expanded state-of-the-art workshops in Locking Road.
Vehicle maintenance lecturer Ian Aldridge said: "This is our third year and we offer training for apprentices plus part and full- time courses for Level 1, 2 and 3 qualifications. "We have 60 students and apprentices on courses but what we need are more garage employers prepared to take on apprentices and give them a chance to learn on the job.See the full content of this document
